ARUSEA Incubation Program
The Incubation Program of the Alliance for Urban Resilience in Southeast Asia (ARUSEA) seeks to empower social entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia with projects aimed at improving the living conditions of their communities by mitigating the negative effects of natural disasters in their region.
As part of their CSR Strategy, Coca-Cola developed a nationwide entrepreneurship program to support women developing businesses in the food and beverage sector in order to drive socio-economic development in rural and urban areas across Spain and Portugal.
IDEA App Program
As part of their economic development efforts, UNIDO launched a series of over 10 entrepreneurship programs in 15 different countries to support over 1000 entrepreneurs. The IDEA App program is one of the most ambitious entrepreneurship initiatives around the globe and will guide founders in developing innovative solutions in priority value chains for each country while also welcoming less-represented groups like youth and women into the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Chanel Employee Engagement
Chanel teamed up with Bridge for Billions to design a corporate volunteering program that would provide an inspiring opportunity to employees. The program stemmed from Ashoka’s Changemaking Companies initiative, with Chanel’s objective to support employees in deepening their knowledge of social entrepreneurship.
La Caixa Foundation, through its entrepreneurship program, decided to support founders from underrepresented groups, with a lack of literacy and no previous support in entrepreneurship. This program aims to support entrepreneurs who are developing innovative solutions to improve the quality of life of people in two Peruvian regions, Quispicanchi and Condorcanqui specifically.
Visa Mentorship Program
Visa Inc. designed a corporate volunteering program where employees became mentors to founders from underrepresented groups creating small and micro-businesses. The objective of the program is to promote economic development and growth in collectives who normally wouldn’t have access to support and resources whilst providing an engaging mentorship opportunity for Visa Inc. employees.
A Mamá le tengo Fe
This program by Fundación Monge was created in commemoration of Mother’s Day to support Costa Rican mothers and encourage female entrepreneurship. In this program, women entrepreneurs were able to access resources and training in the development of their new businesses.
Social Innovation Incubator
This program by United Way Metropolitan Dallas aims to address historical opportunity and resource gaps as well as systemic racial and gender inequities in the social innovation sector in North Texas. The program was specifically built to support early-stage social ventures led and staffed by women and people of color who are working to implement new and creative solutions to pressing problems facing North Texans in the areas of Education, Income, and Health.
Reactivamos Centroamérica is a collaborative initiative where different entrepreneurship support organizations in the region improve their program offering through training on topics such as incubation best practices and business model. Through the program, these organizations simultaneously incubate up to 50 ventures activating mentors, youth, women and leaders from different communities, in order to strengthen the current ecosystem.
Social Finance Alliance for Romania (SoFiA) is an integrated program seeking to act as a catalyser for the development of the social finance ecosystem in Romania. In this program, social enterprises received incubation and investment readiness training with guidance from international and national mentors.
