2013 – The Spark
Pablo and Jessica start Bridge for Billions as a study project at Carnegie Mellon, aiming to make entrepreneurial knowledge and mentorship accessible to everyone.

2015 – Official Registration
Bridge for Billions becomes a registered Public Benefit Corporation, formally committing to social impact.

2016 – Building the First Platform
Pablo returns to Spain, sets up the first team at Impact Hub Madrid, and launches the first version of the online incubation platform for the first entrepreneurs, mentors and corporate clients.

2017 – Global Recognition
Pablo is named an Ashoka Fellow, highlighting Bridge for Billions’ potential to drive systemic change in entrepreneurship.

2018 – Pivot to Partner-Funded Programs
We phase out direct-fee programs for entrepreneurs (“The Leap”) and focus on free programs funded by private and public partners like Coca-Cola, Ashoka and UNIDO.

2020 – Pandemic Response
When COVID hits, we open-source our platform to Entrepreneurship Support Organizations worldwide with the “Together for Innovation” campaign, enabling them to keep supporting entrepreneurs remotely.

2021 – Expanding to Central America
We open our second office in Guatemala City, building a local team to deepen impact in the region.

2022 – Launch of Conecta Central America
We support 25 ESOs across Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Panama and Costa Rica, jointly launching the region’s largest incubation program for hundreds of entrepreneurs.

2024 – Growing in Africa
We open our third office in Nairobi, Kenya, creating a base to replicate Conecta across the African continent.

2025 – A Decade of Impact
Our team surpasses 50 people. We celebrate 10 years, having run more than XXX programs and supported XXX entrepreneurs from XXX countries with the help of YYY mentors.
